Alien Crossing ~ The Search For Truth
Since the middle of the twentieth century, reports of unidentifiable craft in our sky have increased to the point of being almost commonplace. There is a growing phenomena of reported encounters and abductions by alien beings. While the United States government holds to the opinion that it is all a hoax, other countries, like Belgium and France, have opened up their records in a quest for a better understanding of the UFO phenomenon.
With the scientific "discovery" of planets circling other stars, there has become a greater mainstream acceptance of the possibility that there could be other living creatures and civilizations besides our own. While our current technology could only launch a sub-light speed craft into space, new developments could radically change that limiting parameter. It was only a hundred years ago that humanity developed functional aircraft, yet have advanced to the point of making several manned trips to the moon and back.
If there are alien presences on our planet, how long have they really been visiting and possibly interacting with our species?
In June, 1947 a private pilot named Kenneth Arnold saw several UFOs flying over the Cascade Mountains in Washington. When he described the crafts he called them flying saucers. This was the first known usage of the term to describe UFOs and it quickly became a popular term in ufology vocabulary.
As odd as it may seem it was less than a month later when scattered wreckage and debris was discovered near Roswell, New Mexico. Before the year came to an end there were eight more cases of UFO sightings documented.
You may think that 1947 marked the beginning of mankind's fascination with aliens, but that is not the case. Throughout history, artwork and writings have described beings and phenomena which parallel reports of modern sightings and encounters.
Alien Evidence in Religious Paintings
When I first learned about the UFOs and odd flying craft that seems to often appear in religious paintings I was amazed.
Why did these artists include such strange features in paintings dealing with religion? Is it possible that these painters knew something that we do not? We do know, from examples such as "The Davinci Code" that artists did in fact include symbols and messages in their work.
Alien Evidence in Ancient Writings
The ancient Sumerian culture wrote of their "gods" as having been physically among them with devices to travel through both the sky and back and forth from "the heavens".
- Were these "gods" actually alien visitors taking advantage of a primitive culture for their own mysterious purposes?
- Was Ezekiel's "wheel within a wheel" in actual fact the running lights of a "flying saucer"?
- Did Jacob have a "close encounter" when he saw "angels" traveling up and down the "Ladder to Heaven"?
There are many other intriguing references to things that seem like UFOs and entities that seem like aliens (not of this world) in the Bible.
With the huge amount of data available, one should view this topic objectively. There is more evidence to the possibility that there is a deeper truth to extraterrestrial existence than can be mustered to discount the possibility out of hand. It is of great importance to our species advancement that we fully investigate the "Alien Crossing".
