Alien Abduction ~ Fact or Fear?
Probably the most disturbing factor to emerge from the entire UFO phenomena is the recurring idea that these alien visitors are forcibly taking humans aboard their craft and using them as experimental test subjects.
While the cases of Betty and Barney Hill, Whitley Strieber and Travis Walton are by far the most well known and documented cases where people have claimed alien abduction, the occurrence of humans being temporarily taken by extraterrestrial agencies have turned up throughout the ages. Even the biblical accounts of Enoch and Elijah exhibit many standard aspects of the “abduction” phenomena.
Accepted medical authorities state unequivocally that there is no such thing as “alien abduction” and that anyone who says they have been taken is either mentally unstable or under the influence of psychotic drugs. This attitude does not consider the actual condition of those who claim abduction or their lack of discernable mental illness or record of drug use. It is much like the Air Force’s conclusions from “Project Blue Book” where it was claimed in a contradictory way that UFO’s did not exist and that UFO’s did not present a threat to national security.
Early reports from around the turn of the twentieth century, most notably from a Colonel Shaw of Lodi, California, reported that at first these “aliens” tried to physically and forcibly take humans. Col. Shaw reported that on November 25, 1896 he and a companion encountered a hovering “airship” and the two beings that emerged attempted to manhandle them into the ship but were fought off. In later years, the method reportedly used to subdue victims took a more frightening aspect in that people began being taken from their beds at night in a state of paralysis. Increasingly, reports of “lost time” periods, which the victim can not remember the events of hours or even days of their lives, have surfaced and lead one to wonder if some sort of memory manipulation has been utilized.
Despite the several distinct types of “aliens” that have been reported over the centuries, it is usually the thin, large eyed “gray” variety that seems to be the most prominent abductors. It is yet to be figured if they are doing it for themselves or are merely the “workers” for other types as hypnotic regression on many abductees has revealed information that there are often two or three different alien species present in the examining rooms where the victims are taken.
Often those who have reported being victims of these abductions find strange markings and puncture wounds on them after an encounter. Many have later found through x-ray that strange “implants” have been injected under their skin or more often far up into the nasal passages. Of the few of these mysterious small objects that have been removed, the artifacts have been shown to be of an unknown material and function. It has been hypothesized that the devices are “tracking devices” as many reported abductees report they have been done this way many times throughout their lives.
Routinely, those who claim to have been abducted, report that they are subjected to medical examinations and experiments. In a hauntingly familiar way, these examinations sound just like the procedures our earthly scientists use to track, tag and examine wildlife. Do extraterrestrial biologists collect their specimens in much the same way and for similar reasons?
With over one thousand official reports of “alien abductions” on file and the speculation that many more go unreported, do we dare casually laugh off and ridicule the experiences of these people? If an extraterrestrial culture views us as merely the “wildlife” on this planet, what then are our rights within their purposes. Of all the phenomena surrounding potential visitation from an unknown advanced race of beings, this factor should be the most strenuously investigated, not the most actively ridiculed!

Unidentified Submersible Objects
The unidentified flying objects that increasingly permeate our skies have become so well known that fully sixty percent of all people polled confess to the belief that they are real and that they are piloted by extraterrestrial visitors to our planet. There is a less well known, although no less disturbing, phenomena in which these objects have been witnessed as either rising from the depths of the ocean or plunging into it.
These unidentified submersible objects (USO) have been reported as far back as 1067 A.D. This report from the “Lestoire des Englis” written by Geoffrey Gaimer describes such an object.
“In this year people saw a fire that flamed and burned fiercely in the sky. It came near the earth and for a little time brilliantly lit it up. Afterwards, it revolved, ascended on high, and then descended into the sea.”
This phenomena was not confined to the British Isles. Again in 1580 A.D. the Spanish sea Captain Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa described this sighting while passing through the Straits of Magellan off the coast of Chili. Translated, his report reads thus:
“we saw emerge from the sea a round thing, red like fire, like a shield, that rose up on the air or on the wind. It became longer as it went over a mountain and, in the form of a lance high above the mount, its shape became like a half-moon between red and white in colour.”
This phenomena is not consigned to the distant past. In his book, “Behold a Pale Horse”, ex Naval Intelligence Officer William Cooper describes this sighting while serving aboard the submarine USS Tiru out of Pearl Harbor in the late 1960’s.
“I turned, raising my binoculars to my eyes just in time to see a huge disk rise from beneath the ocean, water streaming from the air around it, tumble lazily on its axis, and disappear into the clouds.”
Cooper then asked a fellow officer to survey the area as well.
“Ensign Ball turned, raising his glasses to eye level. I was just lifting the binoculars off my chest when I saw it. The giant saucer shape plunged out of the clouds, tumbled, and, pushing the water before it, opened up a hole in the ocean and disappeared from view. Ensign Hall stood in shock.”
Time after time witnesses have stated that these craft seem to be as at home in the water as they are in the air above us. This leads to a question of whether the UFO’s are in fact from another planet or are they the vehicles of an advanced culture and race of beings who, for their own reasons, have their residence hidden from the open view of the humans who live on the surface of the Earth?
As technology increases people’s ability to explore the planet, strange and obviously non-natural formations are being located. The “Google Earth” program has led to many unexplained sightings of anomalous formations on and under the oceans of our planet.
Are the pilots of the UFO’s we see in fact extraterrestrial or could they be the descendants of an advanced race that has chosen to live separate from what we know of as terrestrial life? With the evident damage our civilization is bringing to the environment it could well be that these craft are increasing in number of sightings in order to investigate what is happening on the surface and how it may affect the entire planet, not just the surface dwellers.
It is a fact that one should look not only to the sky for evidence of visitation but to the sea as well when investigating the alien crossing.

Crop Circle Symbology
While the earliest crop circles manifested themselves in simple round patterns, they have increasingly over the last two decades developed vast and complicated geometric 
patterns. Researchers having delved into the mathematical symmetries of these designs and discovered complex rational formulae.
Three centuries B.C.E. the mathematical scholar Euclid devised four primary geometrical theorems on which he hinted there could possibly be a fifth theorem derived from. Twenty three hundred years later this fifth geometrical theorem was mysteriously exhibited in a one hundred sixty thousand square foot pattern of flattened, woven barley outside Litchfield, Hampshire in England. The astronomer Gerald S. Hawkins, former Chairman of the Boston University Department of Astronomy, has written exhaustively on this phenomena. *
Another intriguing facet of this complex geometry is its correlation to the diatonic ratio which is used to create the scale of musical notes. The mathematical interplay of the 
various triangles and circles woven into these crop circles demonstrate a fine understanding and pictorial example of this concept of the underlying nature of sound in a physical pictogram of the face of the earth.
This “frozen” music has echoes within many of the world’s religions. From the “sound” spoken by the Judeo-Christian God to create the universe. You can see such designs carved into the architectural stones of Gothic cathedrals. The Navajo and Hopi shamans are known to utter a “sound” to vibrate through the sand of their medicine paintings thus creating geometric patterns. These shamanistic vibration-created designs mirror the function and look of the Hindu mandalas which are purported to be the expressions of the word of the gods. It could also be why Islam uses geometrical designs to express their image of God. A large number of the “circles” that appear in England feature Celtic knots, crosses and other design work.
From the early religious concepts, man has considered the sun a representation of their “god”. This circle pattern was the simple design of the early crop circles. As these 
mysterious patterns developed, the “barbell” pattern of two circles connected by a straight line began to show up. Around one circle of many of these designs, extra patterns started taking form, mirroring the “holy” signs and symbols of a multitude of both aboriginal and established religious icons.
Now, the mystery of who is creating these crop circles has not been solved by any means. While there are those who say they are divinely created, others feel that there is an extraterrestrial source. According to the ancient Sumerians, the “gods” were beings who came from another planet. The truth could be some combination of the two seemingly diverse ideas. But if these are messages from “the gods”, then what are they trying to communicate and why are they using such elaborately mysterious methods to do so?

Project Blue Book ~ The Official Story
There are quite a few civilian groups that are dedicated to researching and investigating the possible extraterrestrial connection involved in sightings of unidentifiable objects flying in our sky. The Mutual Unidentified Flying Object Network (MUFON) is probably the largest group of people networking their knowledge and experience on this topic. However, to date, there has been very little “official” government research that we as “outsiders” have been privy to. Of the few groups that have publicly acknowledged their interest in this mystery, “Project Blue Book” formed by the United States Air Force, is the most well known if not forthcoming with the information they obtained.
The Air Force’s previous UFO investigations were less than satisfactory. “Project Sign” which was in operation through 1948 concluded that the craft were not of USA or Russian make, but went no further in explaining. “Project Grudge” soon followed but was mandated as a debunking program. Their official stance was that all UFO sightings were misinterpretations of natural phenomena although 23% of their reports were “unexplainable”. Several of the top USAF generals were so upset by this cavalier treatment of the subject that in 1952 Gen. Charles Cabell dismantled “Project Grudge” and with Gen. William Garland, started the new “Project Blue Book” in an attempt to create a serious investigation.
With Capt. Edward Ruppelt heading the project and initiated many changes in the reporting procedure. He attempted to destigmatize reports of seeing such unusual craft and developed a statistical method of investigation and a standardized questionnaire to cover as many salient facts as possible. Capt. Ruppelt took the investigations seriously and insisted his staff do as well. Anyone who became too skeptical or narrow minded soon found themselves released from the project.
During this brief era of “Project Blue Book” press releases were often forthcoming with information and scientists were routinely consulted about the more intriguing reports. This openness in investigation and public reporting did not last long. By the end of 1953 Ruppelt’s staff had been reduced to about ten people and the new Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Nathan Twining, who had initiated the old “Project Sign”, turned the primary responsibility of investigation and information release to the newly formed 4602nd Air Intelligence Squadron (AISS), a department of the Air Defense Command.
Thus began another age of debunkery and secretiveness in the area of official UFO research. While “Project Blue Book” continued to be praised as the “open information” source of the investigation of UFO activity, the internal orders were to decrease or completely eliminate any “unexplainable” sightings and most of the following press reports were to be issued as “natural phenomena”. No discussion of unexplainable sightings were hereafter allowed. The following years saw new directors take over the project. Each new officer was increasingly hostile to the idea of UFO’s being real and the policy of ridicule became the normal viewpoint.
With the appointment of Major Robert Friend in 1958 the trend towards debunkery turned slightly. Amid Congressional hearings and public outcry of government and military cover-ups about the extent and veracity of unidentified craft, he attempted to reinvigorate the project with serious scientific investigation. However, his efforts were mainly thwarted by higher ups and in 1963 he stated that the project should be dissolved for being effectively useless. He was released from the project.
With the induction of Major Hector Quintanilla to the head of the project, the policy of debunkery increased. The “explanations” of UFO phenomena became so transparently farcical in the face of the actual reported incidences by very reliable witnesses that the “cover-up” accusations became quite vocal. The greater the outcry of public concern, the more the project issued the “nothing unusual” reports. After being reviewed by what seemed to be a highly biased committee which held that “national security” outweighed the public’s right to know, “Project Blue Book” was officially ended in December of 1969.
In all, of the 12,618 officially acknowledged reports taken over nearly two decades, 701 of these cases remain “unknown” despite the efforts to minimize their classification. The final conclusion offered from the project was that the UFO’s were not a national security risk. That statement does not include the assurance that they were not real. Read in one way, it could merely be doublespeak for saying that the USAF was aware of extraterrestrial existence but might be partnered with them instead.

The Real Men In Black
For decades now, the reporting of an unidentified flying object or alien encounter has often lead to a visit from a couple of mysterious visitors, dressed all in black, which threaten dire consequences if the person persists in talking about their experience.
Several features seem to be synonymous with these unwelcome visits. The men all dress alike, have very similar, often oriental features, use stilted language reminiscent of old gangster films, wear dark sunglasses regardless of weather conditions, supposedly to hide the “glowing eyes” they are reported to have, and disappear quickly in a huge black limousine.
The first recorded visit by the MIB, men in black, as they are more popularly referred to was in 1953 by the founder of the “International Flying Saucer Bureau (IFSB). To the shock and suprise of his fellow members and readers of the organization’s subscribers to the “Space Review” magazine he edited, Albert K. Bender suspended the organization and magazine after a visit from what he described as three men, all in dark suits, who revealed reasons to discontinue studying the UFO phenomena amid threats toward anyone in his group that persisted. His final issue of “Space Review” ended with the enigmatic warning, “We advise those engaged in saucer work to please be very cautious.”
While Mr. Bender’s story was at first an attempt to cover up the fact that the organization was loosing money and could not continue financially, by 1963 there had been enough other sightings and visits by the MIB that they began to take on their own mythos in the “conspiracy theory” cult of ufology. Often these strange visitors will produce what, at a glance, appear to be credentials from such diverse branches of government as the CIA, FBI and NORAD. Some have described the identification cards as having “strange symbols” on them. The huge black cars they have been seen driving also have been reported to harbor a variety of designs and logos, none of which seem to be positively identified later.
Many people who report being visited by the MIB have described being subsequently inflicted with headaches, nausea, memory lapses and strange, unidentifiable odors following them around.
There is speculation that the MIB’s are not even human. The possibility of mental manipulation by alien psychic power has long been a controversial but potentially possible reality. While the descriptions of these visitors are usually general and hard to pinpoint, several times when people have been interviewed about the men in black, children present have given a conflicting description.
One case in particular, when the father had reported the “man” as being of average height, red headed and wearing sunglasses, his preteen daughter described the entity as over seven foot tall, stick thin with greenish skin and huge black eyes. Other accounts have had people describe humans recognizable to them that have visited as one of the men in black, but subsequent research has placed the person recognized as being in a distant, known location at the time of the “visit”.
Since the threats the men in black make seldom seem to come to any further effect than the disquiet they present at the encounter, it is not likely that a sinister government agency bent on secrecy is behind this phenomena. That some alien agency, not wholly understanding the psychology of threats and intimidation, is trying to confuse the issue and decrease the credibility of witnesses can be equally argued.
Whether these mysterious visitors are human or alien remains unproven but a visit from them has never been described as pleasant.

The New Models ~ Non Classic UFO Types
We have all become familiar with the traditional “flying saucer” and the rocket shaped cylinder flying craft. The speedy, high flying spheres and even the bell shaped UFO’s have been reported occasionally throughout the past. But in the last fifteen years there have been several very striking new models appearing in the skies over our planet and especially the United States.
The black triangular craft have been spotted repeatedly as hovering over and following along the Interstate Highway System and near large well populated cities. When seen cruising at a low altitude it is apparent they are fairly large objects, usually estimated at one hundred or so feet long. The triangles seem to issue no sound other than a few reports of an extremely low frequency hum. They have been witnessed as not only hovering but demonstrating the ability to put on a great deal of speed and altitude at a moment’s notice.
With the frequency these giant craft are being spotted along the roadways of America, it 
lends some credibility to the “conspiracy theory” that these UFO’s are in fact an undisclosed aircraft type developed by the government or military and being used to monitor the citizenry.
There is existing technology to account for much of the triangles’ behavior patterns, except for the ability to shoot straight up vertically and rise out of sight at a second’s notice. By utilizing such vehicles at night it would help keep the details more guarded When caught on film in a rare daylight sighting, the delta craft shows a more natural “airplane” coloration.
Whether these are alien aircraft or a product of a secretive human agency remains to be disclosed. That they are usually only seen at night and recognized when low to the ground does not rule out the possibility that some of the extra slow or extra fast light seen in the night skies could well be this type of vehicle displaying a different pattern of running lights at altitude.
Taking in a Mountain View
Only within the past few years have there been a few sightings of this unusual type of slow floating and hovering craft. First spotted over the Daniel Boone National Forest in Fleming County, these enigmatic objects have been seen passing slowly over the tops of trees in other heavily wooded areas of the nation.
One person managed to get some perfectly focused pictures of this odd looking vehicle. As it passed over the area they were camping in, they reported no sound emanated from the object. It slowly passed overhead and then on across the tree line and out of sight. Several of the photographs reveal strange writing on the “wings” and body of the UFO. What is more interesting is to compare these possible alien writings with the letter forms of some of the earliest human cultures.
It seems that the unidentifiable craft are setting records for the amount of sightings in this beginning of the twenty first century. Does that mean they are being less concerned about hiding now that the concept of “alien life” is no longer such a ridiculed possibility? Or does this reflect a more insidious potential that a power bent on domination is setting the stage for a “fake” alien takeover. Whatever the truth is, it is obvious that some new strategy about being observed has gone into effect. It is almost as if these strange objects are being shown to us intentionally.

UFOs Battle In The Sky
Once one is open to the possibility of extraterrestrial biological entities existing and being present in our solar system, the next step would be to consider; is there only one group of these beings? Unidentified craft have been reported in several general shapes and sizes and it is possible that more than one species has an interest in the resources of our planet. Have there been conflicts between different groups of alien groups for the right to exploit these resources?
In the year 1561, the residents of Nuremberg, Germany witnessed what appeared to be a huge battle in the skies over their city. As was reported at the time in their town newspaper, an aerial “ballet” took place. Involved in this display were several spherical craft:
“approximately 3 in the length, from time to time, four in a square, much remained insulated, and between these balls, one saw a number of crosses with the color of blood. Then one saw two large pipes, in which small and large pipes, were 3 balls, also four or more. All these elements started to fight one against the other.”
The battle lasted for over an hour and was witnessed as far away as the town of Basil, Switzerland. As shown in the woodcut, some of the craft involved seem to have crashed and burned during this encounter.
A local artist, Hans Glaser, created a woodcut of the event he had witnessed. Despite the Christian symbolism that influenced his work, the battling craft he detailed show some very familiar resemblances to types still reported in our skies today.
The gold and silver colored spheres are still showing up in increasing numbers. On June 10, 2004 an entire fleet of these spheres were sighted over Guadalajara, Mexico. The cameraman, Miguel Aguila captured several minutes of this slow parade across the sky.
A private citizen filmed this cylindrical object passing overhead in Finland in 2007. It was traveling too slowly to be a rocket and it can be clearly seen that there are no wings attached to hold it up.
War of the Worlds: The Battle of Los Angeles
On February 25, 1942, less than two months after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and the United States entry into World War II, the citizens of Los Angeles, California were awakened to a terrifying sight. There was a huge flying disk hovering over the suburbs of Santa Monica and Culver City. Fearing a wave of attacking aircraft bent on destruction, the Air Raid Wardens quickly mustered and soon the searchlights lit up the sky. What they revealed was a craft beyond any technology of the day.
The Army’s 37th Coast Artillery Brigade sprang into action and began bombarding the hovering craft with anti-aircraft guns. One Air Raid Warder described the encounter thusly.
“It was huge! It was just enormous! And it was practically right over my house. I had never seen anything like it in my life! It was just hovering there in the sky and hardly moving at all.”
“It was a lovely pale orange and about the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. I could see it perfectly because it was very close. It was big!”
“They sent fighter planes up and I watched them in groups approach it and then turn away. There were shooting at it but it didn’t seem to matter.”
Many direct hits were observed on the strange craft but they appeared to have no effect.
The barrage lasted for over a half an hour before the UFO slowly moved off, passing over Long Beach before disappearing. In the aftermath of this encounter, six people were found dead from the falling debris of the artillery shells.
While this event was covered by local newspapers at the time, there was little national mention as it was feared the information would create mass panic across the land.
There is too much evidence to dismiss the presence of these unknown objects. That it has been reported they are not always friendly even toward each other, it diminishes any hopes that humanity will find a benign and peaceful race of advanced beings to help us with our own difficulties.

Alien Spacecraft At Roswell New Mexico
The incident at Roswell, New Mexico is probably the most well-known of all alien - UFO encounters. On July 7th of 1947 a ranch foreman by the name of Mack Brazel reported that he had found debris from a crashed UFO.
According to Brazel the area where the debris was scattered was as big as a football field. Military personnel arrived and the strange materials were recovered and taken to the Roswell Army Air Field.
The next day a press release was issued by the military which stated that a flying disc had been discovered. The press release was published in the Roswell Daily Record. However, later that day a General in command of the 8th Air Force killed the story by stating that what had been found was simply a weather balloon and not a craft of extraterrestrial origin.
A press conference was held in which debris that was alleged to be that which had been recovered was shown to the public. Interest in the Roswell incident died down and was all but forgotten for over 30 years.
In 1978, Stanton Friedman, a well known ufologist, conducted an interview of Major Jesse Marcel. Marcel was actually a part of the original team that made the recovery of the materials and debris near Roswell. Marcel claimed that the military had taken steps to cover up the truth about what was really found that day. He went on to say that he believed that it was, in fact, an alien spacecraft.
The Interview sparked new interest in the Roswell story. The media began to take up the subject and the Roswell spacecraft was discussed in documentaries and magazine articles. Over the years after the interview other witnesses began to emerge.
In 1989 Glenn Dennis, formerly a mortician, gave his accounts of what was happening in regards to the discovery at Roswell. He stated that autopsies were being performed on dead alien bodies at the base.
In response to this claim and others about aliens being discovered near Roswell the General Accounting Office conducted an inquiry and ordered the Air Force to carry out it’s own internal investigation.
Two reports were issued. The first claimed that the materials collected were debris from a secret program known as Project Mogul. The second report held that the reports of dead alien bodies were simply a result of false memories caused by stress with dealing with accidents and deaths of military personnel.
What really happened at Roswell, New Mexico that July day in 1947? Was there really a crashed UFO that was found in the desert? There is no doubt that a massive cover up was performed by our military, but what did they cover up? A crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft or a secret government project?
As a matter of interest for you here is the “Alien Autopsy” film. This film is allegedly from the Roswell Army Air Field near Roswell, New Mexico. It is supposed to be one of the alien bodies that were discovered among the wreckage. Perhaps we will never know what the truth is behind this piece of film. Is it possible that it is a real alien being examined here?

Classic UFO Pictures
Here we have a collection of the most classic types of UFO pictures. There are a great deal of UFO and alien photographs that have been shot by amateur photographers all over the world. We selected the UFO photos for this page to give you an introduction to the types of pictures that have been produced.
This picture was taken by a paper delivery boy early in the morning while he was making his deliveries. Fortunately, he had his camera when he happened to look up into the sky and see this UFO.
A man found this photograph when he was packing up his recently deceased parents possesions. His best guess was that the photo was shot a few miles from their home in Kentucky during the early 1960s. He had never seen the picture before so he had no idea what the story was behind it. His parents, or family, had never mentioned anything about anyone seeing a UFO, let alone having a picture of one.
Here is another UFO photograph from the 1960s. This picture was shot in Wyoming by a farmer when he witnessed the UFO over his field. The farmer said that the UFO appeared in that area every day until, eventually, he got a camera and took it with him. Sure enough, the UFO again appeared in the sky over his field and he captured it on film.
There have been a great many UFO sightings in the US Southwest. This UFO picture was taken in New Mexico. Notice how low this craft seems to be flying. Also, there is a shiny object much higher in the sky, but that could be natural such as a plane or even the moon or a planet.Written by David Slone
